Being a backlinking agent or a backlinking expert in a nutshell is you commenting on blogs or making relevant posts in forums along with the website of your employer that works as a link to his website.

Here is a forum post of a backlinker about dogs with a  thread about giving them a bath.

What's the point of your work making backinks?

If I'm the site owner and I have  many backlinks spread across the internet, the page rank of my website will increase on search engines and and would likely attract a lot of visitors to my site.

That's why site owners are willing to pay people for spreading backlinks to their website because it has to be done manually for them to have less chances of  getting  penalty from search engines.

This can be a hard job since  most of the employers would like to see your backlinks stay for a week or so and will not pay you for each of the backlinks you created that have been deleted.

The best  advice if  your a manual backinking agent is to finish your quota for a day so  that they can check them sooner and hopefully will also pay you sooner.

Because if you pass the list  of your backlinks at a later  time, some of them may have already been deleted.

Don't be disheartened by those software for generating backlinks since the number  of clients who wants manual backlinks made by agents are still at par or perhaps even more wanted than automated backlinks.

Backlinkers are also sometimes referred to as SEO agent, backlinks  specialist, backlinks experts and the like.
